The sky is not always blue, oil painting, canvas on cardboard, 50×70 cm, 2023

When I saw the open call of this exhibition, I was delighted with such a coincidence! It was a day when I first-time discovered Chat GPT.
Who else but he can become my MUSE in this project! I spent several hours discussing the topic with Chat GPT. Many of proposed ideas were fairly obvious and superficial, such as cyborgs, robots, and impossible machines. But in the process of dialogue, we (there is no doubt that “we” can be written) came up with an idea that will reflect the main theme of the exhibition and will not ruin my individual painting style. It require patience and cooperation, but led me to some interesting thoughts.
Machine technologies can realistically create something completely unrealistic, impossible or not accessible. Recently, there has been a lot of criticism of machine technology, indicating that it is too ideal and far from creativity in its classical ordinary sense. This is where the idea came to me!
Artificial Intelligence ANSWERS A REQUEST! From this point, all criticism turns to the very source of this criticism. Perhaps there is something wrong with the request?
What I found particularly interesting about this project was how it challenged limited thinking and preconceptions about the role of technology in the creative process. Reflecting on the theme of the exhibition, I settled on the idea that this machine intelligence is not so scary. Do you want something cute and pretty – just ask! And here, in contrast to the artistic oil painting, a naive rainbow appears. Its pixel structure perfectly emphasizes the artificial origin. This way you can strengthen your understanding that machine intelligence is an assistant and a modern, effective tool for developing the potential of mankind, and not a competitor to it. As in my own example, where we came to a result together.
Artificial intelligence can become a powerful tool for human development and creative expression. Using the unique capabilities of this technology, we can create works of art that are truly innovative and breathtaking. Through the example of my work, I want to give impetus to the general spirit of cooperation, interaction and productivity. If you put aside fear and prejudice, you can come to a positive result.
I am delighted to present this work in your exhibition and showcase it alongside other talented artists who explore the intersection of art and technology. Thank you for considering my application and I look forward to being part of the project.

Meanwhile in the Sky, oil on canvas, 60×60 cm, 2023
I was born in a small village in the North not far from the Arctic Circle. The long winter nights, the cold and the general unsettledness of life were my childhood companions. From an early age, I had to overcome difficulties and take responsibility for myself. I finished school well, then University, first moved to the main city of the region, and then to the capital, where I studied for a master’s degree in law. At some point, this was not enough and I moved to another country. Now my family and I live in the Netherlands.
Painting has always accompanied me in waves, blooming most vividly in moments when I experienced great love. Love for my work, love for a man, love for a newborn son.
Curiosity and energy for action have always distinguished me. Along with being creative, I have a fairly practical mindset and I stick to the idea of constancy, planning and consistency. Talent must be accompanied by work and I follow this every day.
