In between dreams, ideals, and memories, my artworks stand as a mirror-like reflection, materializing an otherwise unreachable or unseen part of the self. Allowing in return the viewer to interact with the deepest part of their heart trough contemplation and shared human emotions.

艾琳娜·西达尔是一位法国具象画家,专注于传统工艺的传承与保护。她的创作灵感源自传奇故事的永恒性及其对人性的揭示,探索过去与当下、内在与外在世界之间的临界空间,旨在展现文学在质询当代问题中的现实意义。她毕业于巴黎索邦大学(Panthéon-Sorbonne),主修艺术史与考古学,并进一步学习艺术材料与其保存方法;曾在卢浮宫学院(École du Louvre)进修,并师从特蕾莎·奥阿卡(Teresa Oaxaca)学习油画颜料的制作,之后前往多座拥有大师遗产的城市与博物馆,完成了以“大旅行”(Grand Tour)传统精神为核心的深造。
Elina Siddal (b.1999) is a French figurative painter interested in the preservation of traditional craftsmanship. Inspired by the timelessness of legendary tales and by what they reveal of human nature, her work explores the liminal spaces in between past and present, inner and outer worlds. Aiming to show the relevance of literature to question contemporary issues. Art history and archaeology graduate (Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris), Elina further pursued her education on art materials and their conservation. Following additional courses at the Ecole du Louvre and learning oil paint making with Teresa Oaxaca, before travelling to the cities and museums of the Old Masters to complete her training in the spirit of the Grand Tour tradition.
