《秋色-1》是多年来进行抽象艺术创作的系列作品之一，是在早期意象花卉的基础上演化而来，更注重表现方式的尝试，做一些自由的表达，探索绘画艺术创作的更多可能，找到与个人相契合的媒介和表达方式。作品以意向与抽象的形态为主，表达秋天的记忆，注重自然的形态，在适度可控的范围内，利用创作过程中的一些不确定性，实现确定与不确定性的结合。
Autumn Colors-2 is one of the series of works of abstract art created over the years, which evolved from the imagery of flowers of my early creation period. I focus more on the experimentation of free expression, explore more possibilities of painting art creation, and find the media and expression that fit with the individual thoughts. The works are mainly in the form of intention and abstraction, expressing the memory of autumn, focusing on the natural form, within a moderate and controllable range, utilizing some uncertainties in the process of creation, and realizing the combination of certainty and uncertainty.

李茂，博士，男，工作于四川大学，副教授，从事艺术创作、研究与教学工作，四川省美术家协会会员，四川省数字媒体艺术协会理事。作品入选全国第二届少数民族美术作品展（优秀作品奖）、第十届全国美术作品展四川省展、第三届四川青年美展（优秀作品奖）、成都春季沙龙展、了了艺术展、2021成都双年展/特别邀请展、绵延：当代绘画展、语言的边界：中国艺术展、传灯之聚—艺术的独行与相望、’流动的情绪—秋之韵律’全球艺术家线上展（第二名）、第三届中国小幅油画展等展览，大量作品被中外机构和个人收藏。
Li Mao, Ph.D., works in Sichuan University, associate professor, engaging in art creation, research and teaching. He is member of Sichuan Artists Association, director of Sichuan Digital Media Art Association. His works have been selected for the 2nd National Minority Art Exhibition (Outstanding Work Award), the 10th National Art Exhibition of Sichuan Province, the 3rd Sichuan Youth Art Exhibition (Outstanding Work Award), the Chengdu Spring Salon, Art Now, Chengdu Biennale 2021/Special Invitational Exhibition, Sheer: Contemporary Painting, Boundaries of Language, Gathering of Transmission of the Lights-Art of Solo Travel and Looking, Flowing Emotions – Rhythm of Autumn Global Artists Online Exhibition (second place), the Third Chinese Small Oil Painting Exhibition, etc. A large number of works have been collected by Chinese and foreign institutions and individuals.
