My inspiration comes from a multitude of observations: the shapes and structures of a building, the shadows and lights captured on objects, the colors of a stained-glass window, a flower, a street, the reflections and contrasts on glass surfaces.
I use all of this to create my paintings.
I paint primarily with acrylic paints and markers to accentuate the sharpness and contours of my subjects. I enjoy changing styles and trying new techniques. I find it fascinating to succeed and bring emotion to an image with simplified and precise shapes.
