Urban Landscape International Photography Art Exhibition
The city is a microcosm of human civilization—a vessel where memory, emotion, and transformation intertwine. Organized by Independent & Image Art Space, the Urban Landscape International Photography Art Exhibition is held from May 1 to May 30, 2025, showcasing outstanding works by 11 international artists. Using photography as a medium, the exhibition delves into the multifaceted appearance and underlying structures of contemporary urban landscapes.
Focusing on the theme of Urban Landscape, the exhibition presents a diverse range of city scenes—from bustling streets to quiet corners, from modern architecture to historical relics—through the intersection of different cultural backgrounds and visual languages. The works navigate the forms, structures, and temporal layers of the city, sharply capturing the transformation and reconfiguration of urban space amid the tides of globalization.
Through personalized observation and narrative, the artists reveal how human activity continuously shapes and redefines the face of the city. Their work goes beyond the physical attributes of the urban environment, seeking to touch on the intricate and subtle relationships between social change, cultural convergence, and personal emotion.
Urban Landscape is not only a visual feast of photographic art but also a platform that fosters cross-cultural understanding and deeper dialogue on urban issues. We warmly invite you to step into the exhibition and reflect—through light and shadow—on the meaning and future of the cities we inhabit.
