A wearable installation that simulates the sensation of kissing between human and machine. Using heart rate sensors, the device detects the user's arousal state and activates synchronized vibration and localized heating on a thermoplastic interface shaped for the lips. This feedback loop of sensing and responding explores how machines may someday perform — or simulate — acts of emotional intimacy through embodied signals.

Lingfei (Sherry) Shen is a London-based visual artist specializing in interactive installations within the field of fine art. Her practice explores the relationship between technology, the human body, and sensory experience through a range of media, including responsive wearables, immersive environments, and digital interfaces. Drawing from her background in design, media arts, and embodied interaction, Shen creates poetic and experiential works that invite audience participation and challenge conventional modes of perception. Her installations often function as hybrid spaces where physical and virtual realities intersect, offering intimate encounters with movement, gesture, and presence. Shen holds degrees from the University of the Arts London and the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, and her work has been exhibited internationally across art, design, and technology contexts.
