托马斯·拉古纳维奇出生于立陶宛考纳斯。童年时期，他深受印象派画家的影响，因父母的朋友——艺术家兄妹塔达斯·科雷瓦（Tadas Koreiva）与弗拉达·科雷瓦特（Vlada Koreivaitė）——而对艺术产生浓厚兴趣。他的童年时光常常在他们的家中度过，这段经历为他的艺术启蒙奠定了基础。
托马斯后来因对戏剧的热爱而投身于戏剧与舞台设计的学习。在从事数字艺术创作之前，他长期专注于绘画与摄影。
Tomas Lagūnavičius was born in Kaunas, Lithuania. In his childhood he was impressed by the Impressionists. He became interested in art because his parents’ friends were the artists brother and sister Tadas Koreiva and Vlada Koreivaitė. He spent a lot of time in their home during his childhood. Later, his interest in theatre inspired him to study theatre and stage design. Before working in digital art, Tomas was a painter and photographer for a long time.
