ABOUT EXHIBITION THEME:

Black & White

Independent & Image Art Space (Chongqing, China) is excited to announce an upcoming group exhibition, “Black & White,” dedicated to the exploration of monochrome magic in photography. This exhibition celebrates the depth and subtlety of black and white artistry, inviting viewers into a world where shades speak louder than colors.

Artists and photographers are encouraged to submit their most impactful works in line with the theme. In a realm where color steps back, the stark contrasts of black and white come forward, telling tales, evoking emotions, and offering new perspectives. This exhibition is a stage for those stories, captured in the timeless dance of light and shadow, to be told and admired.

ELIGIBLE SUBMISSION

Artists are invited to submit 1-6 photography works responding to the theme, without limit to genres, techniques, and styles.

FOR SELECTED ARTIST

• Artworks will be printed (Epson giclée print) and framed by us and shown in the group exhibition;

• Chinese-English bilingual online feature on our website;

• Chinese-English bilingual digital catalog;

• Chinese-English bilingual promotion on Chinese and international social media.

COPYRIGHT

• The artist retains the sole copyright for the images;

• Submitted images can be available for public viewing on our website and social media, including in relation to promotional activities for the exhibition;

• All display images will be credited with the artist’s name.

FEES:

• $50 up to 6 works;

• Submission fees are non-refundable.

ADDITIONALLY

Independent & Image Art Space will charge a 20% commission on artwork sold during the exhibition.

HOW TO SUBMIT

• Please fill in and submit the form below.

• You should upload 1- 6 works, images in JEPG, 300 dpi, each image no larger than 5MB.

Once you’ve paid and submitted your application materials, you will receive a confirmation email from us within 48 hours, confirming the successful receipt of your submission.
